When Makis Galopoulos fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lunatics of Arianrhod's protests and gave Makis Galopoulos a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lunatics of Arianrhod fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! Cristoforo Tammaro had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Aristides Lehior's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Godfredo Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Panza in the 15th minute of the match. Alonzo Lazcano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. BEIJO CARNAVAL's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 36th minute BEIJO CARNAVAL were awarded a corner. Aristides Lehior went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led BEIJO CARNAVAL's Aristides Lehior to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristoforo Tammaro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Lunatics of Arianrhod getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Fedele Panza hit a great ball. After 45 minutes, Tomás Lleir mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BEIJO CARNAVAL and the Lunatics of Arianrhod players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Lunatics of Arianrhod booed when BEIJO CARNAVAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Lleir didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by BEIJO CARNAVAL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Hibai was slow to take the kick. During this time Lunatics of Arianrhod's players had a chance to rest. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Hibai kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Godfredo Abarca. That made the score 0-3 in the 51 minute of play. Joel Hibai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Godfredo Abarca made a huge save. Godfredo Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Panza in the 61st minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Alonzo Lazcano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godfredo Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fedele Panza in the 70th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Richard Peso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
