Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Long Stora in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kalle Askberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sergio Livingstone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Holmgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kalle Askberg came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by ViCeNzA's Long Stora. But to his dismay, Long Stora quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ted Holmgren was extremely unlucky when he, in the 14th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Sundborn IF's Kalle Askberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Long Stora in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's Ted Holmgren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Livingstone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kaloyan Mitashev kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, ViCeNzA's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Magnus Hansson came free, but Sergio Livingstone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Livingstone was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Ted Holmgren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ted Holmgren really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After some careless play in the Sundborn IF defense, Leonardo Primo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kalle Askberg. The Sundborn IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kalle Askberg should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Clodoveo Cayo came free, but Kalle Askberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Sundborn IF booed when ViCeNzA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Tuste didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Ted Holmgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sergio Livingstone. Ted Holmgren showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Ted Holmgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Sergio Livingstone made a huge save. Kalle Askberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Long Stora in the 45th minute of play. Kalle Askberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clodoveo Cayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ted Holmgren made the kick off in the second half. Long Stora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Kalle Askberg made a huge save. In the 57th minute, Kaloyan Mitashev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by ViCeNzA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sven-Olof Stephansson was slow to take the kick. During this time Sundborn IF's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Sundborn IF's corner Sven-Olof Stephansson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sergio Livingstone quite easily take care of the ball. Kalle Askberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matías Hernández in the 74th minute. The supporters of ViCeNzA booed when Sundborn IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaloyan Mitashev didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sundborn IF's Ragnar Løth was substituted for Henning Bennet. Sundborn IF made a substitution. Alf Hansson replaced Kaloyan Mitashev. ViCeNzA's Robert Moreau was substituted for Matías Hernández. Kaloyan Mitashev kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Long Stora could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Kalle Askberg however easily saved by the left post. Kalle Askberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Moreau in the 80th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ted Holmgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sundborn IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Ted Holmgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Livingstone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joachim Svensson's late challenge caught a ViCeNzA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joachim Svensson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, Sundborn IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joachim Svensson to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Sundborn IF's goalkeeper Kalle Askberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Long Stora. 86 minutes into the game, Sundborn IF's Ted Holmgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sergio Livingstone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. After 94 played minutes ViCeNzA got a freekick which was hit by Robert Moreau. After 97 minutes, Börje Ekström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sundborn IF and the ViCeNzA players grew even worse after the yellow card. ViCeNzA's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sundborn IF had won, even though ViCeNzA had held more of the ball.
