The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Mujahid Namasivayam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arturo Chico got free with Enzo Morais in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xavier Sabrosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Farid Mondragón. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xavier Sabrosa ran back to his position shaking his head. Farid Mondragón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Sabrosa in the 8th minute of play. If Xavier Sabrosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Farid Mondragón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Sabrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, ZEZOM TEAM's Xavier Sabrosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Farid Mondragón made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. MILAN COLOMBIANO's Farid Mondragón played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Sabrosa in the 16th minute of play. The throw-in from Sebastian Boselli in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ZEZOM TEAM's Armando Mascarenhas. Farid Mondragón stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Teves's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 26thth minute of the game Xavier Sabrosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MILAN COLOMBIANO's Farid Mondragón was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Claudi Echeverri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MILAN COLOMBIANO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ZEZOM TEAM the free kick. The supporters of ZEZOM TEAM booed when MILAN COLOMBIANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudi Echeverri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Farid Mondragón stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xavier Sabrosa's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Xavier Sabrosa took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Farid Mondragón. Farid Mondragón dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquim Teves was the one to do the kick off. Xavier Sabrosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Farid Mondragón read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Sabrosa in the 53rd minute of play forced MILAN COLOMBIANO's goalkeeper Farid Mondragón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute of the match ZEZOM TEAM got a corner. MILAN COLOMBIANO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xavier Sabrosa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led ZEZOM TEAM's Xavier Sabrosa to fire away a dangerous shot which Farid Mondragón despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind MILAN COLOMBIANO's goalkeeper Farid Mondragón, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Farid Mondragón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Sabrosa in the 63rd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Xavier Sabrosa notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of MILAN COLOMBIANO's Farid Mondragón. Farid Mondragón was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. MILAN COLOMBIANO's Farid Mondragón proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save MILAN COLOMBIANO from getting a goal against them. MILAN COLOMBIANO's Sergio Vito was substituted for Damaso Alvarez. MILAN COLOMBIANO made a substitution. Ariel Tiadoro replaced Gregorio Jerold. The corner ended in Che Doderer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MILAN COLOMBIANO's Farid Mondragón did a great save. Joaquim Teves came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Farid Mondragón could save by the left post. A hard shot 71 in the game by Joaquim Teves from a close distance when the talented Farid Mondragón managed to make a qualified save. MILAN COLOMBIANO's players were relieved. ZEZOM TEAM's Nate Calas got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Farid Mondragón made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Teves in the 79th minute. With a little luck, MILAN COLOMBIANO's Farid Mondragón got control of the ball when Joaquim Teves tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 86th match minute, ZEZOM TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Teves to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Teves kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, MILAN COLOMBIANO's Ben Chepchumba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enzo Morais made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. In the 93rd minute ZEZOM TEAM were awarded a corner. Joaquim Teves went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on ZEZOM TEAM's corner Joaquim Teves fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Farid Mondragón quite easily take care of the ball. Nate Calas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Farid Mondragón came out and tried to block the shot, but Nate Calas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 94th minute. The MILAN COLOMBIANO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ZEZOM TEAM were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
