Filipe Silva did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Zheng Chao Wei 44 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the game, Dante Enetz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Alexander Manninger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Club Floresta Manda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stuart Legzdins ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 94th minute, Faustino Gonsalve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bento Aleixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zheng Chao Wei having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Manchester United F.C. had played much better football throughout.
