Vc Brye's Henri-Patrick De Mare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Vc Brye from getting a goal against them. 6 minutes into the match, Vc Brye's goal looked a bit too open when Anoush Khalatbari came free, but Henri-Patrick De Mare reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anoush Khalatbari got free with Henri-Patrick De Mare in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 14 played minutes Vc Brye got a freekick which was hit by Philipp Van Landeghem. Henri-Patrick De Mare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bennvar Nobel in the 15th minute of the match. After 16 minutes Vc Brye's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Darnell Metcalf who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Darnell Metcalf got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Henri-Patrick De Mare quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Anoush Khalatbari put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Henri-Patrick De Mare. Vc Brye's Henri-Patrick De Mare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Cannata in the 21st minute of play. Darnell Metcalf took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henri-Patrick De Mare. Henri-Patrick De Mare dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 30th minute Gabríel Vassaras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvin Hökkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anoush Khalatbari to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of American Airlines booed when Vc Brye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart-Jan Ablij didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vc Brye's Henri-Patrick De Mare played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bennvar Nobel in the 55th minute of play. Henri-Patrick De Mare showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darnell Metcalf in the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin 雷震南 in the 83rd minute of play forced Vc Brye's goalkeeper Henri-Patrick De Mare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anoush Khalatbari in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henri-Patrick De Mare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henri-Patrick De Mare took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonah Ryan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
