Onurhan Çinuçin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Pastor Firman made a huge save. Pastor Firman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Verner Wahlnäs in the 21st minute. Per-Oskar Hedberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radomil Mietus in the 26th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Wiktor Strömqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peace Home Street Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiktor Strömqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pastor Firman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Qu Xuan Yang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Verner Wahlnäs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Edmílson Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Oskar Hedberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pastor Firman made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Wiktor Strömqvist sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Radomil Mietus made the kick off in the second half. Per-Oskar Hedberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Verón in the 52nd minute. Verner Wahlnäs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Firman having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Club Sportivo Quilmes's goal looked a bit too open when Verner Wahlnäs came free, but Pastor Firman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Monico in the 80th minute of play forced Peace Home Street Boys's goalkeeper Per-Oskar Hedberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Oskar Hedberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Martins in the 83rd minute of play. Per-Oskar Hedberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Monico in the 86th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Club Sportivo Quilmes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Ladio to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Verón got free with Per-Oskar Hedberg in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Per-Oskar Hedberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Monico, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When Anacleto Monico got free in front of the goal in the 92nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Per-Oskar Hedberg was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Peace Home Street Boys's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
