Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Linköpings AIK from getting a goal against them. Andrzej Badanowski took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Willem-Jan Hollanders. Willem-Jan Hollanders dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Andrzej Badanowski came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Linköpings AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrzej Badanowski couldn't finish the play. Basiel Henrix made in the 13th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Robbie Valckenaers. Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Linköpings AIK from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Creemers in the 19th minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jimmy Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's Andrzej Badanowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Willem-Jan Hollanders narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jimmy Olsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thananiti Cheewawipat in the 29th minute. Willem-Jan Hollanders made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Badanowski in the 31st minute of play. Willem-Jan Hollanders stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrzej Badanowski's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrzej Badanowski in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Willem-Jan Hollanders prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Les Bistouquettes Bleues's Basiel Henrix got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The Les Bistouquettes Bleues players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Linköpings AIK were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrzej Badanowski to make the kick off. Thananiti Cheewawipat took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jimmy Olsson. Jimmy Olsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Arvid Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Thananiti Cheewawipat came free, but Jimmy Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Linköpings AIK's attentive Marbjörn Garpsson managed to snatch the ball when Basiel Henrix made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. 63 minutes into the game, Andrzej Badanowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Willem-Jan Hollanders was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Linköpings AIK getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Folke Abrahamsson hit a great ball. Linköpings AIK's Johan Johansson was substituted for Marbjörn Garpsson. In the 67th minute, Folke Abrahamsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Willem-Jan Hollanders successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Creemers in the 76th minute of play forced Linköpings AIK's goalkeeper Jimmy Olsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, Linköpings AIK's Andrzej Badanowski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. Les Bistouquettes Bleues made a substitution. Dany-Adams Coeckelberghs replaced Bryan Creemers. When Linköpings AIK's Andrzej Badanowski in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Linköpings AIK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
