With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christoffer Modig prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jurassic Monsters SA were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Oakcroft Thrashers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peeter Heintalu took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Oakcroft Thrashers's goalie and right to Eliseu Freitas. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Oakcroft Thrashers's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svante Gustafsson in the 96th minute of play forced Jurassic Monsters SA's goalkeeper Yiğitcan İstanbullu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jurassic Monsters SA's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Oakcroft Thrashers had won, even though Jurassic Monsters SA had held more of the ball.
