Eldridge's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Råbi FF the free kick. Epifanio Urre might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mohamed Ben Ahmed Reda Madouni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Epifanio Urre ran back to his position shaking his head. Mohamed Ben Ahmed Reda Madouni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Urre in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the game Edmond Kerkar made a throw-in which Manos Triantafyllidis played forward. If Epifanio Urre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kıraç Yalıns short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Vilhelm Pålsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Epifanio Urre to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Epifanio Urre recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mohamed Ben Ahmed Reda Madouni.
