The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Herblay's Léon Monnet got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xesc Labarra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tristan Vicente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, FC Hollywood's goal looked a bit too open when Léon Monnet came free, but Maximino Ticho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonin Dagorne in the 14th minute of play forced FC Hollywood's goalkeeper Maximino Ticho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herblay's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
