Tạ I came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by ACF Fiorentina's Maximino Cabezon. But to his dismay, Maximino Cabezon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Arif Nihat Tekin made in the 8th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Anak Selby. Claudinei Velloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anak Selby in the 18th minute of the match. Begu Ganjang's Tạ I proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Begu Ganjang from getting a goal against them. In the 20thth minute of the game Maximino Cabezon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Begu Ganjang's Tạ I was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Maximino Cabezon came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the ACF Fiorentina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Cabezon couldn't finish the play. Begu Ganjang's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manuel Aurelianu in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Cosmas Simbolon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudinei Velloso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, ACF Fiorentina's Hu Xi got a free kick in the 35th minute. The supporters of Begu Ganjang booed when ACF Fiorentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hu Xi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudinei Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anak Selby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Begu Ganjang's zone, Maximino Cabezon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tạ I came out of the goal and Maximino Cabezon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximino Cabezon made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Hu Xi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Begu Ganjang's Manuel Aurelianu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by ACF Fiorentina's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Manuel Aurelianu was slow to take the kick. During this time Begu Ganjang's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Begu Ganjang's corner Manuel Aurelianu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Claudinei Velloso quite easily take care of the ball. In the 58th minute, Anak Selby reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudinei Velloso. The goal made the score 1-2. 63 minutes into the match, Begu Ganjang's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Cabezon came free, but Tạ I reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Begu Ganjang's Wieslaw Smuskiewicz got a free kick in the 66th minute. ACF Fiorentina made a substitution. Federico Teofilio replaced Rigoberto Rozarius. Godofredo Suarez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tạ I having to make a save. Begu Ganjang made a substitution. Fotis Perivolakos replaced Cosmas Simbolon. 87 minutes into the match, Begu Ganjang's Anak Selby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Claudinei Velloso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ariel Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Begu Ganjang booed when ACF Fiorentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Adrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Begu Ganjang eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
