An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Dembowski in the 30th minute of play forced Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Markus Nyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ereinotz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Markus Nyman having to make a save. Brothers of Mercy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Doğuhan Alpaslan ran over to the corner to take the kick. With his leg Markus Nyman managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Skarpa Ełk's Jakub Dembowski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 69th minute of the match Brothers of Mercy got a corner. The Skarpa Ełk players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
