Hugo Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Martini hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Inocencio Felipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garth Brough in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Garth Brough in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inocencio Felipo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Garth Brough might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Inocencio Felipo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Garth Brough ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute, Delmiro Emeterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Nouvelle Vague's Casimiro Ugutz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tom Riddle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Nouvelle Vague were awarded a corner. Delmiro Emeterio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Delmiro Emeterio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Australian Youth Academy's Tom Riddle did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Ugutz in the 39th minute of play forced Australian Youth Academy's goalkeeper Tom Riddle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casimiro Ugutz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tom Riddle came out and tried to block the shot, but Casimiro Ugutz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 47th minute. Australian Youth Academy made a substitution. Fletcher Baba replaced Gabriel Martini.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fletcher Baba to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Nouvelle Vague got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Villaverde. After 57 minutes Nouvelle Vague's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roy Baba who took care of the corner kick. Roy Baba's late challenge caught a Nouvelle Vague's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roy Baba helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Australian Youth Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Baba to maneuver through the defense. Nouvelle Vague's Inocencio Felipo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garth Brough in the 63rd minute of play. Inocencio Felipo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garth Brough in the 63rd minute of the match. Inocencio Felipo made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Fletcher Baba sent off a good shot on target. Nouvelle Vague were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
