Waldemar Korytkowski came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ricardo Ceberiche could save by the left post. Arrecifes's Arif Ozan Oğuztan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Piedrahita in the 25th minute of play. Ricardo Ceberiche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Ritchie in the 41st minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cirilo Ritchie to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Roneros F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Ritchie came free, but Ricardo Ceberiche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
