The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Protegéerna's Ingemar Åberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Protegéerna from getting a goal against them. Besim Vecdet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Ingemar Åberg made a huge save. Petter Skarkman took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Di Xuan Zhan. Di Xuan Zhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Besim Vecdet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ingemar Åberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match, Besim Vecdet got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ingemar Åberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Besim Vecdet kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ingemar Åberg. That made the score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. Ingemar Åberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Besim Vecdet, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Besim Vecdet in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ingemar Åberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Slawomir Fujara quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cosme Demesio, made in the 25th minute of the game. Di Xuan Zhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Skarkman in the 27th minute of the match. Di Xuan Zhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Python, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 35th minute of the match, Fotis Theofilopoulos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ingemar Åberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 37thth minute of the game Petter Skarkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Di Xuan Zhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Di Xuan Zhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Näver during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Michael Näver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Besim Vecdet might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ingemar Åberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Protegéerna's Ingemar Åberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aias Kreskas in the 85th minute of play. Di Xuan Zhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petter Skarkman in the 87th minute of play. Di Xuan Zhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petter Skarkman in the 93rd minute. In the 93rd minute, Ulrik Söderlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
