Spectators: 8446 (Terracing: 6336, Seating: 1942, VIP seats: 168) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nuralp Akbal started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute Nuralp Akbal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Higuita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuralp Akbal in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Higuita saved Club Ibiza from getting behind. Pagos FC were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Club Ibiza's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mircea Teodor took the corner. Rene Higuita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Montae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Fonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Campens having to interfere. Club Ibiza's Rene Higuita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuralp Akbal in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nuralp Akbal in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rene Higuita saved Club Ibiza from getting behind. Bruno Fonso took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Campens. Manuel Campens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Rene Higuita came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pagos FC's Nuralp Akbal. But to his dismay, Nuralp Akbal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Manuel Campens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Fonso in the 45th minute. Pepe Sabatini kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Pepe Sabatini charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pepe Sabatini the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Fonso to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruno Fonso in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Campens saved Pagos FC from getting behind. Phillip Hunt kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuralp Akbal got free with Rene Higuita in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nuralp Akbal made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 57thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Rene Higuita would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Rene Higuita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nuralp Akbal's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Manuel Campens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Fonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club Ibiza's Bala Veloz was substituted for Tony Thanos. Club Ibiza's Đỗ Remi was substituted for Gelu Cozmâncă. 85 minutes into the match, Nuralp Akbal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rene Higuita, 1-3. With a little luck, Club Ibiza's Rene Higuita got control of the ball when Nuralp Akbal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rene Higuita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuralp Akbal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pagos FC's Manuel Campens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustino Asprilla in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pagos FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
