Ray Clemence came out of the goal and Gustavo Scarpa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to PHOENIX SC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Samai Asmawan hit a great ball. Joinville United - FSCMZ's Borys Gruchacz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phoenix Kante in the 9th minute of play. When PHOENIX SC's Phoenix Kante in 10 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Borys Gruchacz guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Vladimir de Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Borys Gruchacz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hanung Sephtianda, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When PHOENIX SC's Vladimir de Sena in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Joinville United - FSCMZ's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Vladimir de Sena put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Borys Gruchacz. In the 29th minute, PHOENIX SC's Hanung Sephtianda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX SC's Haji Bandell got a free kick in the 37th minute. With a little luck, Joinville United - FSCMZ's Borys Gruchacz got control of the ball when Hanung Sephtianda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Borys Gruchacz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Gustavo Scarpa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Clemence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 53rd minute, Gustavo Scarpa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joinville United - FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Joinville United - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after PHOENIX SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lennart Khan took the corner. Borys Gruchacz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hanung Sephtianda, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 69th minute Hanung Sephtianda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Borys Gruchacz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ray Clemence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tostão Montenegro in the 90th minute of the match. Ray Clemence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mané Lara in the 92nd minute of play. Ray Clemence came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville United - FSCMZ's Tostão Montenegro. But to his dismay, Tostão Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. PHOENIX SC's Ray Clemence proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save PHOENIX SC from getting a goal against them.
