Retrô Recife AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Berne Flesfadar made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Bebeto Pinho sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Adelino Paraense could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Berne Flesfadar however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabricio Salomone in the 11th minute of play forced Retrô Recife AD's goalkeeper Doriva Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Gencay Devrim notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Retrô Recife AD's Doriva Quadros. Doriva Quadros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Doriva Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Salomone in the 19th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabricio Salomone in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doriva Quadros saved Retrô Recife AD from getting behind. Doriva Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Brais, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Veselin Blangev hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, Black Mamba's Fabricio Salomone nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Doriva Quadros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Fabricio Salomone scored 0-4 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Doriva Quadros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hélder Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Berne Flesfadar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebeto Pinho in the 51st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Retrô Recife AD defense, Fabricio Salomone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Doriva Quadros. The Retrô Recife AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Doriva Quadros should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kubat Seha in the 57th minute of play forced Retrô Recife AD's goalkeeper Doriva Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th play minute Fabricio Salomone came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Doriva Quadros. 0-6. After having played for 62 minutes, Fabricio Salomone managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Mamba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Salomone was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Kubat Seha came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Black Mamba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kubat Seha couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, Black Mamba's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Paraense came free, but Berne Flesfadar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doriva Quadros was a little too slow when Kubat Seha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-7. Kubat Seha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berne Flesfadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Pinho in the 74th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Gencay Devrim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Mamba's supporters rose to their feet, but Gencay Devrim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doriva Quadros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Kubat Seha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Doriva Quadros. The goal made the score 0-8. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Fabricio Salomone took a quick shot and it went in 0-9 without a chance for Doriva Quadros to make any attempt to save it. In the 96th match minute, Retrô Recife AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélder Bastos to maneuver through the defense. The Retrô Recife AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Black Mamba were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
