The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Felix Jacobs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute Peter Susskind shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Luty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th match minute, PKS Gliwice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krzysztof Fikus to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute of the match, Wincent Osielski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Udi Lieberman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Barnabe Kael kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Udi Lieberman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gwidon Luty took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Susskind, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gunnerz's Peter Susskind got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Udi Lieberman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Szczepan Wielkopolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Peter Susskind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnerz's Udi Lieberman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tymoteusz Fiszer in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Wincent Osielski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Udi Lieberman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Wielkopolski in the 35th minute of play forced Gunnerz's goalkeeper Udi Lieberman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, PKS Gliwice's Udi Lieberman threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wincent Osielski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Udi Lieberman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wincent Osielski in the 40th minute of play. Udi Lieberman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szczepan Wielkopolski in the 42nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Udi Lieberman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Felix Jacobs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felix Jacobs to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Peter Susskind managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gunnerz's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Susskind was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gwidon Luty breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gunnerz's Udi Lieberman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wincent Osielski in the 59th minute of play. Udi Lieberman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wincent Osielski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Szczepan Wielkopolski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Udi Lieberman. Gunnerz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Szczepan Wielkopolski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Gunnerz's Peter Susskind got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Udi Lieberman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wincent Osielski went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute, Wincent Osielski made a precise shot to the right of Udi Lieberman. Gunnerz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Gunnerz's Shani Lahat got a free kick in the 87th minute. Udi Lieberman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincent Osielski in the 91st minute of the match. Felix Jacobs did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Gwidon Luty 92 minutes into the match. Dobromir Purzycki took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Udi Lieberman. Udi Lieberman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Gunnerz's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
