In the 24th minute, Hassan Al Homaithe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 28 minutes into the game, when Qais Al Fadhalah put in a rough tackle. 32 minutes into the game, Marvin Lord cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Masuod Al Fadhalah was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 38 minutes of play, Pendleton's Francisco Downey made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Masuod Al Fadhalah was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marvin Lord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Masuod Al Fadhalah having to interfere.
