Doriva Quadros was a little too slow when Jean Neto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After 92 played minutes Retrô Recife AD got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Bastos. Confusao were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
