When Francisco Downey came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Pendleton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Downey couldn't finish the play. Gwidon Luty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marvin Lord in the 22nd minute of play. Marvin Lord sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gwidon Luty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Downey in the 32nd minute of the match. Francisco Downey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gwidon Luty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tymoteusz Fiszer charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tymoteusz Fiszer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes PKS Gliwice got a freekick which was hit by Tymoteusz Fiszer. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Downey was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Wincent Osielski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PKS Gliwice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wincent Osielski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Krzysztof Fikus hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. With his leg Gwidon Luty managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Pendleton's Marvin Lord fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Szczepan Wielkopolski hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Pendleton defense, Dobromir Purzycki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdinand Chandler. The Pendleton fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdinand Chandler should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in PKS Gliwice's zone, Marvin Lord stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gwidon Luty came out of the goal and Marvin Lord tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kazimierz Lenertej kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Gwidon Luty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Downey in the 78th minute of play. If Marvin Lord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marvin Lord's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gwidon Luty firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Wincent Osielski came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the PKS Gliwice fans jumped to their feet.
