The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kléber Vasconcelos during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Confusao's goalkeeper Valdomiro Mendes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adelino Carrasqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
