The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fahad Al Hammady in the 3rd minute of play forced Confusao's goalkeeper Valdomiro Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Masuod Al Fadhalah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chicão de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the game, Gilvan Ceresso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Masuod Al Fadhalah. Gilvan Ceresso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 15 minutes into the game, Kléber Vasconcelos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Masuod Al Fadhalah was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fahad Al Hammady in the 18th minute of play forced Confusao's goalkeeper Valdomiro Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horbury ACS's Masuod Al Fadhalah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Horbury ACS from getting a goal against them. Valdomiro Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hassan Al Homaithe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Horbury ACS's goalkeeper Masuod Al Fadhalah had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean Neto. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Jean Neto took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Masuod Al Fadhalah to make any attempt to save it. Chicão de Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monther Al Mehana hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Horbury ACS's goalkeeper Masuod Al Fadhalah had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean Neto. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Hassan Al Homaithe made the kick off in the second half. Fahad Al Hammady received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Valdomiro Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Faleh Al Ramzi put in a rough tackle. Fahad Al Hammady struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Valdomiro Mendes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Horbury ACS. Valdomiro Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fahad Al Hammady in the 64th minute of play. Fahad Al Hammady was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Monther Al Mehana hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Horbury ACS's goal looked a bit too open when Chicão de Lima came free, but Masuod Al Fadhalah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Masuod Al Fadhalah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chicão de Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Jean Neto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Masuod Al Fadhalah. Horbury ACS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean Neto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Shaheen Al Azmi charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shaheen Al Azmi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Shaheen Al Azmi kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Horbury ACS's Masuod Al Fadhalah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Neto in the 89th minute of play. Confusao's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
