In the 4th match minute, Mogadouro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Baldaia to maneuver through the defense. Mogadouro's Januário Calado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sadeq Al Azmi in the 8th minute of play. When Fahad Al Hammady came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Horbury ACS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fahad Al Hammady couldn't finish the play. Fahad Al Hammady fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Januário Calado having to interfere. When Fahad Al Hammady came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Horbury ACS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fahad Al Hammady couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, Mogadouro's goal looked a bit too open when Sadeq Al Azmi came free, but Januário Calado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sadeq Al Azmi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Adelino Carrasqueira notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Horbury ACS's Masuod Al Fadhalah. Masuod Al Fadhalah was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the match, Horbury ACS's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Carrasqueira came free, but Masuod Al Fadhalah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Mogadouro getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Adelino Carrasqueira hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the game, Mogadouro's Hamilton Quinaz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Masuod Al Fadhalah made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Masuod Al Fadhalah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Carrasqueira in the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fahad Al Hammady to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Baldaia in the 51st minute of play forced Horbury ACS's goalkeeper Masuod Al Fadhalah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adelino Carrasqueira scored 0-3 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Masuod Al Fadhalah, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Masuod Al Fadhalah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Baldaia in the 62nd minute of play. If Fahad Al Hammady had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Horbury ACS's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Baldaia came free, but Masuod Al Fadhalah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Fahad Al Hammady shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Januário Calado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute André Ávila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Masuod Al Fadhalah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mogadouro's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
