Hélder Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Abajas having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Emanuel Telinhos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaeliusato F.C's Vincent Abajas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Azinhaleite's Emanuel Telinhos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vincent Abajas. That made the score 1-1 after 24 minutes of play. An unexpected shot in the 29th minute by Hélder Santos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Mohamed Martin came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Gaeliusato F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohamed Martin couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, SC Azinhaleite's Teófilo Furtado got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Mohamed Martin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaeliusato F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Martin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedito Tomé breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th match minute, Gaeliusato F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efraín Zapatero to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Telinhos to strike the kick off in the second half. Mohamed Martin hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Hélder Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vincent Abajas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Benedito Tomé made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. SC Azinhaleite's Benedito Tomé proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save SC Azinhaleite from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Telinhos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Abajas having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Gustavo Leite was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Azinhaleite's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gaeliusato F.C the free kick. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Benedito Tomé made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomé Jimenez in the 90th minute of play. Bartolomé Jimenez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Gaeliusato F.C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Emanuel Telinhos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Hélder Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gaeliusato F.C players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SC Azinhaleite from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
