If Víctor Prieto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 7 minutes of play, SC Azinhaleite's Leonardo Fragoso made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Román Contreras was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonardo Fragoso took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Román Contreras. Román Contreras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Gustavo Leite notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Union Deportiva Atios's Román Contreras. Román Contreras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Gartzea Cabezas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benedito Tomé. That made the score 1-3 in the 20 minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Víctor Prieto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Benedito Tomé was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute, Gartzea Cabezas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Union Deportiva Atios's Víctor Prieto got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hélder Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hélder Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hélder Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Idacio Marines kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Union Deportiva Atios's Eli Hidalgo got a free kick in the 41st minute. The wind increased when Emanuel Telinhos made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Santos got free with Román Contreras in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Román Contreras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Telinhos in the 54th minute of play. In the 66th minute Gartzea Cabezas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Tomé saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Román Contreras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Telinhos in the 68th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 75 minutes into the game, when Idacio Marines put in a rough tackle. 75 minutes into the game, one of Union Deportiva Atios:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The excitement rose when SC Azinhaleite's David Esteves after 77 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Union Deportiva Atios's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 2-4. Gartzea Cabezas struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Benedito Tomé didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Union Deportiva Atios. Gartzea Cabezas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Hélder Santos notched a goal, 2-6, to the right of Union Deportiva Atios's Román Contreras. Román Contreras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Román Contreras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Fragoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After 96 minutes, Belo Pedraza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Union Deportiva Atios and the SC Azinhaleite players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th minute of the match David Esteves shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Román Contreras showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SC Azinhaleite eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
