Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pedro Ulloa got the match started through his kick off. Franklin Duran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Cresconio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 4 minutes into the match, Jonathan Guillelmo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Limon FC's Franklin Duran. Franklin Duran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alvaro Senen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Ulloa in the 7th minute of play. Raul Lara hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Sape FC's Jonathan Guillelmo got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 17 minutes, Luis Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sape FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Cresconio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Jonathan Guillelmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sape FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Guillelmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franklin Duran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Limon FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bryan Chamberlain hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Sape FC's German Lucian got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes, Limon FC's Raul Lara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alvaro Senen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Limon FC reached it. When Sape FC's Luis Cresconio in 24 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Franklin Duran guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Julio Picado charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Picado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes Limon FC got a freekick which was hit by Julio Picado. Jonathan Guillelmo struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Franklin Duran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sape FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Ulloa in the 31st minute of play forced Sape FC's goalkeeper Alvaro Senen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Sape FC's Luis Cresconio in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Limon FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 38th minute, Jonathan Guillelmo made a precise shot to the right of Franklin Duran. Limon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Jonathan Guillelmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin Duran having to interfere. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Luis Cresconio sped through Limon FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Franklin Duran. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Luis Cresconio made the kick off in the second half. Franklin Duran stood somewhat misplaced when Luis Cresconio came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 51 minute. Franklin Duran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Cresconio's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Bryan Chamberlain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the game, Luis Cresconio lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Franklin Duran. Jonathan Guillelmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Franklin Duran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franklin Duran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Cresconio, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The Sape FC fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Sape FC's Luis Cresconio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Limon FC's Julio Picado got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Cresconio in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Franklin Duran, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Luis Cresconio came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Sape FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Cresconio couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Guillelmo struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Franklin Duran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sape FC. Alvaro Senen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Ulloa in the 95th minute of play.
