Union Deportiva Atios's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melchor Birjaio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 11th minute, Norberto Escobar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 13 played minutes Patadura FC got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Birjaio. Gartzea Cabezas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melchor Birjaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Román Contreras having to interfere. After 19 minutes of play, Patadura FC's Melchor Birjaio made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Román Contreras was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, Patadura FC's Melchor Birjaio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Román Contreras narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 42 played minutes Union Deportiva Atios got a freekick which was hit by Koldo Pena. Román Contreras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Birjaio in the 48th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiburcio Vergaray to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Tiburcio Vergaray ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Román Contreras was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. 56 minutes into the game, Tiburcio Vergaray recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Román Contreras. Tiburcio Vergaray showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Román Contreras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Birjaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 64th match minute, Union Deportiva Atios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belo Pedraza to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Union Deportiva Atios's goalkeeper Román Contreras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiburcio Vergaray. Román Contreras was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Melchor Birjaio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 82 minute of play. In the 86th minute, Melchor Birjaio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Román Contreras.
