SC Azinhaleite's Benedito Tomé proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save SC Azinhaleite from getting a goal against them. In the 21st minute, Cesar Etxahun made a precise shot to the right of Benedito Tomé. SC Azinhaleite's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 28th minute Andres Nataniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedito Tomé saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Cesar Etxahun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Concha y pitos's Eliseo Osmundo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Benedito Tomé was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseo Osmundo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benedito Tomé showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Matai, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Emanuel Telinhos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Heriberto having to interfere. Flavio Heriberto made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Gustavo Leite sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute, SC Azinhaleite's Eliseu Liberato seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eliseu Liberato the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SC Azinhaleite protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eliseu Liberato had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 58th match minute, SC Azinhaleite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseu Liberato to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Concha y pitos getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Anacleto Estevez hit a great ball. Cesar Etxahun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Benedito Tomé tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Cesar Etxahun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Benedito Tomé was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SC Azinhaleite's Benedito Tomé played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Osmundo in the 70th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Eliseo Osmundo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedito Tomé was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After 78 played minutes Concha y pitos got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Estevez. 81 minutes into the match, Anacleto Estevez notched a goal, 7-1, to the right of SC Azinhaleite's Benedito Tomé. Benedito Tomé was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eustaquio Matai took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedito Tomé. Benedito Tomé dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. 96 minutes into the game, Concha y pitos's Eliseo Osmundo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benedito Tomé made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. When the referee ended the match the Concha y pitos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
