After taking down the ball on VILLARREAL UNITED's corner Franz Corral fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Victoriano Bernaldo quite easily take care of the ball. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Valentin Voicu sped through Dep Colonia Avellaneda's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Victoriano Bernaldo. Victoriano Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Voicu in the 11th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Valentin Voicu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VILLARREAL UNITED fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 18th minute, Mariano Silbestre reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carles Olle. The goal made the score 1-2. Valentin Voicu scored 1-3 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victoriano Bernaldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Victoriano Bernaldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. 33 minutes into the match, VILLARREAL UNITED's Valentin Voicu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victoriano Bernaldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valentin Voicu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valentin Voicu struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Victoriano Bernaldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VILLARREAL UNITED. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darryl Buckner was the one to do the kick off. If Valentin Voicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Voicu got free with Victoriano Bernaldo in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th play minute Valentin Voicu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Victoriano Bernaldo. 1-6. 57 minutes into the game, Valentin Voicu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Victoriano Bernaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Valentin Voicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victoriano Bernaldo was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. VILLARREAL UNITED's Peng Yong Guang was substituted for Zadornin Puig. The audience was convinced that Valentin Voicu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victoriano Bernaldo was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Darryl Buckner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of VILLARREAL UNITED booed when Dep Colonia Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position.
