In the 19thth minute of the game Santiago Sidro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gnesta Oilers's Patrick Eliasson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Gnesta Oilers's John Dahlquist got a free kick in the 27th minute. Alejo Veliz struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Robustiano Cordareo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gnesta Oilers. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Forros Fantásticos AC's goalkeeper Robustiano Cordareo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patrick Eliasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Sidro in the 39th minute of play. After 40th play minutes Santiago Sidro shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Patrick Eliasson and just under the crossbar into goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
