An unexpectedly hard shot by Argi Cabrera in the 13th minute of play forced Sporting Tuga FC's goalkeeper Humberto Espírito Santo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorio Villagomez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Pimentel, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute, Manuel Matias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Sporting Tuga FC's Patrício Tavares got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Polentzi Basozabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Espírito Santo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Michel Burgar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Humberto Espírito Santo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Paulino Lico hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Argi Cabrera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Espírito Santo. Sporting Tuga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Argi Cabrera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Michel Burgar might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Humberto Espírito Santo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Michel Burgar ran back to his position shaking his head. After 43 played minutes Deportivo Alianza Lima. got a freekick which was hit by Argi Cabrera. Humberto Espírito Santo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Argi Cabrera went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After the first half Deportivo Alianza Lima. were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hélder Pimentel to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Deportivo Alianza Lima. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Velilla to maneuver through the defense. Sporting Tuga FC's Humberto Espírito Santo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Tuga FC from getting a goal against them. The coaching staff of Sporting Tuga FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Germano Lage had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Sporting Tuga FC's Germano Lage got a free kick in the 59th minute. Humberto Espírito Santo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Burgar in the 62nd minute of play. Michel Burgar in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Humberto Espírito Santo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Diego Caiado's late challenge caught a Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Caiado helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sporting Tuga FC's Diego Caiado got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s Polentzi Basozabal couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sporting Tuga FC. In the 96th minute, Argi Cabrera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo Alianza Lima.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
