The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcel Hoffmann lost his temper 3 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 3rd minute, Marcel Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flávio Marques made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Cordeiro in the 4th minute. In the 12th minute, Serafim Seixas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flávio Marques. The goal made the score 1-1. Alfredinho Secco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anselmo Gama came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Futbol Club RRFV's Alfredinho Secco. But to his dismay, Alfredinho Secco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 21st minute, Adilson Meira made a precise shot to the right of Anselmo Gama. MACAU. F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 26 minutes into the match, MACAU. F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Adilson Meira came free, but Anselmo Gama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th match minute, Futbol Club RRFV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luís Martins to maneuver through the defense. Adelino Valente hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, André Luís Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anselmo Gama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredinho Secco in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, Futbol Club RRFV's Flávio Marques got control of the ball when Albérico Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anselmo Gama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adilson Meira in the 41st minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristiano Pelé made a kick off. In the 50th minute Adilson Meira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Gama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to MACAU. F.C getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Cristiano Pelé hit a great ball. Anselmo Gama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Durvalino Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Cláudio Reis charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cláudio Reis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With an all-out effort, Futbol Club RRFV's Anselmo Gama threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Durvalino Silva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Futbol Club RRFV's Flávio Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albérico Fonseca in the 67th minute of play. F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. André Luís Martins took the corner. At last the ball reached Didi Castro at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of MACAU. F.C. 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albérico Fonseca in the 77th minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Flávio Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77thth minute of the game Cristiano Pelé who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Futbol Club RRFV's Flávio Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Cristiano Pelé sped through Futbol Club RRFV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Flávio Marques. F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Futbol Club RRFV:s goal. Anselmo Gama had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping André Luís Martins's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 95th minute, Albérico Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Durvalino Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Futbol Club RRFV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MACAU. F.C the free kick. Durvalino Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The MACAU. F.C supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Futbol Club RRFV's performance. The match ended with a win for Futbol Club RRFV.
