Jermaine Houghton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boleslaw Drab having to interfere. Tobiasz Noworolnik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Joey Etherington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ryszard Borucki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey Etherington having to interfere. Joey Etherington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Borucki in the 17th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Ozzy Waller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Modecin's Boleslaw Drab was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Heathrow FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ethan Lodge to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Heathrow FC's Aaron Steele got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 39 minutes of play, Modecin's Ryszard Borucki made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joey Etherington was left in no man's land by his defense there! Heathrow FC's Joey Etherington proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Heathrow FC from getting a goal against them.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ryszard Borucki to strike the kick off in the second half. Boleslaw Drab made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jermaine Houghton in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, Heathrow FC's Jermaine Houghton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Boleslaw Drab. Boleslaw Drab yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryszard Borucki in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joey Etherington saved Heathrow FC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jan Sliwinski during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Modecin's Jan Sliwinski got a free kick in the 64th minute. Heathrow FC's Joey Etherington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobiasz Noworolnik in the 69th minute of play. Joey Etherington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryszard Borucki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Modecin's zone, Jermaine Houghton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boleslaw Drab came out of the goal and Jermaine Houghton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute of the match, Ozzy Waller tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Boleslaw Drab saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Joey Etherington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobiasz Noworolnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jermaine Houghton got free with Boleslaw Drab in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boleslaw Drab was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Ozzy Waller capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ozzy Waller really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The Heathrow FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
