To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ⲨⲀⲚⲀ's Hipolito Petri got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eusebio Rafel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandão Linares having to interfere. In the 27thth minute of the game Lázaro Hartz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SAO JOANENSE FC's Fernandão Linares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, ⲨⲀⲚⲀ's goalkeeper Iker Azubeli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrinho Lara. In the 35th minute Lázaro Hartz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Azubeli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Messias in the 38th minute of play. Iker Azubeli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrinho Lara in the 51st minute of the match.
