Wincenty Puchlik was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Betinho Damião showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Soczewki Gliwice's Wincenty Puchlik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Damião in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match, Ernesto Fontes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wincenty Puchlik was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 23 minutes into the match, Soczewki Gliwice's goalkeeper Wincenty Puchlik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Fontes. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Edson Futebol Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while Soczewki Gliwice had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
