When Yuri Paulista fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored A.A.100Qualidade's protests and gave Yuri Paulista a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, A.A.100Qualidade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Paulista to maneuver through the defense. In the 17thth minute of the game Clemente Martino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.A.100Qualidade's Geovânio Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute of the match ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ got a corner. A.A.100Qualidade's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Honorio Vela ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 20 minutes, Clemente Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Martino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 played minutes A.A.100Qualidade got a freekick which was hit by Yuri Paulista. Ciriaco Oinaz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Geovânio Medeiros skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fernando Elodio struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Geovânio Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ. 27 minutes into the match, Fernando Elodio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geovânio Medeiros. A.A.100Qualidade's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Elodio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Fernando Elodio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciriaco Oinaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Geovânio Medeiros made a huge save. After a rather tough play, A.A.100Qualidade's Yuri Paulista got a free kick in the 38th minute. 42 minutes into the match, A.A.100Qualidade's goalkeeper Geovânio Medeiros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruno Quiroga. With his leg Geovânio Medeiros managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Clemente Martino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clemente Martino to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Clemente Martino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geovânio Medeiros was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 70 minutes in the game, Ciriaco Oinaz dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Jaime Afonso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Salgado in the 75th minute of the match. Geovânio Medeiros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Elodio went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Dante Chico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ booed when A.A.100Qualidade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clemente Martino in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovânio Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Fernando Elodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mazinho Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Afonso having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Mazinho Salgado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jaime Afonso, passed just outside the right post. With an all-out effort, A.A.100Qualidade's Jaime Afonso threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mazinho Salgado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ had played much better football throughout.
