With a little luck, Janolin SA's Borys Tyskie got control of the ball when Timoteo Columbo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 16 played minutes Janolin SA got a freekick which was hit by Wasyl Drebit. Jeremias Ezkerra was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 21st minute. Academia 1903's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Kingston Zokora charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kingston Zokora the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Janolin SA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kingston Zokora to maneuver through the defense. Timoteo Columbo kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Janolin SA defense, Timoteo Columbo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Borys Tyskie. The Janolin SA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Borys Tyskie should have stopped the shot. Timoteo Columbo struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Jeremias Ezkerra's late challenge caught a Janolin SA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremias Ezkerra helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 played minutes Academia 1903 got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Ezkerra. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timoteo Columbo made a kick off. Janolin SA's Borys Tyskie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Columbo in the 54th minute of play. Janolin SA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timoteo Columbo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The supporters of Academia 1903 booed when Janolin SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kingston Zokora didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Academia 1903's Timoteo Columbo in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Borys Tyskie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Columbo in the 98th minute of the match. Academia 1903's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
