The Kentucky Mustangs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Di Zhen Lin got free with Stanford Peters in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No Shit!! were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Kentucky Mustangs's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luiz Fernando Passos took the corner. 9 minutes into the match, No Shit!!'s goal looked a bit too open when Brian Loomis came free, but Dolf Robbermond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Brian Loomis notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of No Shit!!'s Dolf Robbermond. Dolf Robbermond was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 15th minute, Brian Loomis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tracy Brunson in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dolf Robbermond saved No Shit!! from getting behind. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Tracy Brunson sped through No Shit!!'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dolf Robbermond. Tony Freitas hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Kentucky Mustangs's Stanford Peters got control of the ball when Di Zhen Lin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eutichios Pagarliotas kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Brian Loomis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Gerrit Evenhuis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stanford Peters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doğan Dilsaz in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Kentucky Mustangs's Brian Loomis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dolf Robbermond made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Brian Loomis might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dolf Robbermond. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brian Loomis ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 41st minute, Eutichios Pagarliotas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dolf Robbermond showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Loomis, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Di Zhen Lin to make the kick off. A collision led to Kentucky Mustangs getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sophan Sudiro hit a great ball. Stanford Peters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eutichios Pagarliotas in the 54th minute of play. If Tracy Brunson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Reuben Hutchins kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Stanford Peters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Di Zhen Lin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Di Zhen Lin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stanford Peters having to make a save. Kentucky Mustangs made a substitution. Brady Rouse replaced Jose Cunningham. If Tracy Brunson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herbert Wehkamp hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match.
