No Shit!!'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Di Zhen Lin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No Shit!!'s Dolf Robbermond played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arno Claußen in the 6th minute of play. August Hoffmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Passos in the 12th minute of play. Luiz Fernando Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Hoffmanns having to interfere. Hugo Haupt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dolf Robbermond having to interfere. Dirk-Jan van Zeijl hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. After 29 minutes, Ansgar Küpper-Adebisi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rot-Weiss-Essen and the No Shit!! players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th match minute, Rot-Weiss-Essen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ansgar Küpper-Adebisi to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Eutichios Pagarliotas managed to get in a good position for a shot. No Shit!!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Eutichios Pagarliotas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. August Hoffmanns breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns got control of the ball when Di Zhen Lin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Di Zhen Lin struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. August Hoffmanns didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for No Shit!!. A collision led to Rot-Weiss-Essen getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Mesut Özil hit a great ball. Di Zhen Lin struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. August Hoffmanns didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for No Shit!!. Di Zhen Lin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anestis Kotsopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the match, Rot-Weiss-Essen's goal looked a bit too open when Di Zhen Lin came free, but August Hoffmanns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dirk-Jan van Zeijl kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. August Hoffmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Di Zhen Lin in the 63rd minute of play. After 66 played minutes No Shit!! got a freekick which was hit by Reuben Hutchins. August Hoffmanns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Di Zhen Lin, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Di Zhen Lin scored 1-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of August Hoffmanns, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eutichios Pagarliotas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Hoffmanns having to interfere. Luiz Fernando Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Hoffmanns having to interfere. A nice corner shot did that Luiz Fernando Passos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this August Hoffmanns quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 85th minute of play forced No Shit!!'s goalkeeper Dolf Robbermond to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Di Zhen Lin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. August Hoffmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Di Zhen Lin in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Rot-Weiss-Essen got a freekick which was hit by Hakem Al Khames. Eutichios Pagarliotas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. No Shit!! had played much better football throughout.
