Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arvid Carlsson got the match started through his kick off. A hard shot by Bert Karlsson from long distance, 2 minutes into the match, got August Hoffmanns's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 3rd minute of the match, Arvid Carlsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but August Hoffmanns saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 8th match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tavo Tomat to maneuver through the defense. August Hoffmanns showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arvid Carlsson in the 9th minute of the match. Arvid Carlssons short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got August Hoffmanns to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Arvid Carlsson kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 16thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Rot-Weiss-Essen's keeper August Hoffmanns was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Linköpings AIK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Marbjörn Garpsson in the 17th minute. The corner led Linköpings AIK's Nils Svensson to a score. 1-0 in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute of the match, Arvid Carlsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but August Hoffmanns was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Linköpings AIK were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Rot-Weiss-Essen's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marbjörn Garpsson took the corner. The audience was convinced that Arvid Carlsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but August Hoffmanns was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Linköpings AIK's Arvid Carlsson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 24th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. August Hoffmanns made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Arvid Carlsson sent off a good shot on target. Anestis Kotsopoulos charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anestis Kotsopoulos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Linköpings AIK booed when Rot-Weiss-Essen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anestis Kotsopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arvid Carlssons short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got August Hoffmanns to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 36 minutes of play, Linköpings AIK's Arvid Carlsson made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. August Hoffmanns was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arvid Carlsson in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck August Hoffmanns prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Hugo Haupt came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Rot-Weiss-Essen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Haupt couldn't finish the play. Jimmy Olsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anestis Kotsopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arvid Carlsson in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg August Hoffmanns saved Rot-Weiss-Essen from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anestis Kotsopoulos made a kick off. Linköpings AIK's Jimmy Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anestis Kotsopoulos in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalkeeper August Hoffmanns, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Linköpings AIK's Arvid Carlsson in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalie prevented a goal. In the 67thth minute of the game Arvid Carlsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rot-Weiss-Essen's August Hoffmanns was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Linköpings AIK fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Linköpings AIK's Arvid Carlsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. August Hoffmanns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvid Carlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. August Hoffmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bert Karlsson in the 73rd minute of play. Linköpings AIK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Willy Witarya in the 77th minute. It was a well-played corner which Arvid Carlsson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 81 minutes into the game, Linköpings AIK's Arvid Carlsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. August Hoffmanns made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Albin Nilsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Linköpings AIK's Arvid Carlsson in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rot-Weiss-Essen's goalie prevented a goal. August Hoffmanns made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvid Carlsson in the 89th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Arvid Carlsson put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of August Hoffmanns. When the referee ended the match the Linköpings AIK players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
