Kentucky Mustangs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Kentucky Mustangs's Stanford Peters played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Columbo in the 7th minute of play. Stanford Peters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Columbo in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Columbo in the 17th minute of play forced Kentucky Mustangs's goalkeeper Stanford Peters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Timoteo Columbo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stanford Peters read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Academia 1903's Timoteo Columbo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stanford Peters made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 26 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's Timoteo Columbo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stanford Peters narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Timoteo Columbo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stanford Peters having to make a save. Stanford Peters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Columbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Columbo in the 32nd minute of play forced Kentucky Mustangs's goalkeeper Stanford Peters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes of play, Academia 1903's Timoteo Columbo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stanford Peters was left in no man's land by his defense there! Timoteo Columbo struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Stanford Peters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia 1903.

The wind increased when Timoteo Columbo made the kick off in the second half. Primo Speranza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gao Lang Feng, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Sophan Sudiro hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Academia 1903's Gérard Magyar was substituted for Harald Ek. Academia 1903 made a substitution. Jacobo Galoer replaced Aldo Maju. When Marco Rincón came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Academia 1903 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Rincón couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Academia 1903's Nicanor Morenø slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Stanford Peters. That made the score 0-4 after 72 minutes of play. Nicanor Morenø recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicanor Morenø's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stanford Peters read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kentucky Mustangs's goalkeeper Stanford Peters, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stanford Peters didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. 88 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Tracy Brunson came free, but Primo Speranza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicanor Morenø's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stanford Peters read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Nicanor Morenø could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Stanford Peters made a huge save.
