With an extended leg and a bit of luck Güven Uçar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Rosio Verdeces's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Güven Uçar was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Lazaro Segura made a great header on Hercules CF's corner, it was just that Fenerbahçe's Güven Uçar managed to reach the ball for a save.

That made the score 2-1 in the 75 minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Tiago Purrigimon notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Fenerbahçe's Güven Uçar. Güven Uçar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 85 minutes into the match, Tiago Purrigimon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Güven Uçar. Fenerbahçe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiago Purrigimon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Tiago Purrigimon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güven Uçar having to interfere. Hercules CF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
