If Arif Bilge Sadreddin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Şafak İnciroğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mete Sarik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Ersin Ayaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Güven Uçar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ersin Ayaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güven Uçar having to interfere. Arif Bilge Sadreddin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Batı Yıldırımtürk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fenerbahçe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baskale the free kick. After 28 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Batı Yıldırımtürk. Arif Bilge Sadreddin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. İbrahim Ethem Bahçeli kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The long shot by Kerimhan Çavlı in the 44th minute really tested Mete Sarik's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arif Bilge Sadreddin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arif Bilge Sadreddin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güven Uçar having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Baskale's goal looked a bit too open when Ensar Batır came free, but Mete Sarik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ensar Batır struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Mete Sarik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fenerbahçe. Arif Bilge Sadreddin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ensar Batır came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Fenerbahçe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ensar Batır couldn't finish the play. Ersin Ayaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Güven Uçar made a huge save. Güven Uçar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ersin Ayaz in the 71st minute. The supporters of Fenerbahçe booed when Baskale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atacan Salur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baskale's Ersin Ayaz got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kürşat Özpolat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güven Uçar having to interfere. Arif Bilge Sadreddin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Güven Uçar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Güven Uçar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ersin Ayaz in the 89th minute. Baskale's Mete Sarik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şafak İnciroğlu in the 92nd minute of play. Şafak İnciroğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mete Sarik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
