In the 11thth minute of the game Kasdi Khadra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenerbahçe's Güven Uçar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jussef Ben Kaci Said received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Güven Uçar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Güven Uçar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jussef Ben Kaci Said, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Holly's Jussef Ben Kaci Said sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Güven Uçar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fenerbahçe's Güven Uçar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jussef Ben Kaci Said in the 22nd minute of play. When Batı Yıldırımtürk fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fenerbahçe's protests and gave Batı Yıldırımtürk a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe's Batı Yıldırımtürk got a free kick in the 24th minute. Batı Yıldırımtürk came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ismael Boulahfane could save by the left post. After some careless play in the Holly defense, Ensar Batır kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ismael Boulahfane. The Holly fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ismael Boulahfane should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Şafak İnciroğlu in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Boulahfane prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lounès Amrouche charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lounès Amrouche the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Holly got a freekick which was hit by Lounès Amrouche. In the 43rd minute of the match Kerimhan Çavlı shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ismael Boulahfane showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Holly booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mirza Canfeda didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Kasdi Khadra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holly's supporters rose to their feet, but Kasdi Khadra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Güven Uçar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zīn ud-Dīn Mammeri in the 55th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Güven Uçar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 56 played minutes Fenerbahçe got a freekick which was hit by Kerimhan Çavlı. Kasdi Khadra scored 1-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Güven Uçar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute of the match, Kasdi Khadra got a very nice opportunity to score, but Güven Uçar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Kasdi Khadra put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Güven Uçar. In the 71st minute, Kasdi Khadra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Güven Uçar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. When Zīn ud-Dīn Mammeri came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Holly fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zīn ud-Dīn Mammeri couldn't finish the play. Güven Uçar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kasdi Khadra in the 78th minute. In the 79th match minute, Fenerbahçe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Derviş Yavuzhan to maneuver through the defense. Kasdi Khadra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güven Uçar having to interfere. Zīn ud-Dīn Mammeri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Güven Uçar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 92 minutes, Kasdi Khadra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holly's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kasdi Khadra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Holly booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derviş Yavuzhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zīn ud-Dīn Mammeri struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Güven Uçar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holly. The Holly players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
