Dionisia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kurt Hamrin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Tomás Xacintu came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Dionisia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Xacintu couldn't finish the play. In the 28th match minute, Skövde AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Vibjörnsson to maneuver through the defense. Ronnie Hellström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damaso Aresti in the 31st minute.
