Wilfredo Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Taurino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Johans came free, but Cayetano Behe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Brown Puerto Madryn booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Fliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brown Puerto Madryn's Wilfredo Rodriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Errapel in the 47th minute of play. The Brown Puerto Madryn players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Balvanera were winning 1-2.
