In the 2nd minute, Aquiles Oihenarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melquiades Salvatore stood somewhat misplaced when Tommy Beck came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 5 minute. Melquiades Salvatore was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Tommy Beck capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tommy Beck really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. In the 16th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Jaunti to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the game, Tommy Beck cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Melquiades Salvatore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19th minute, Patrik Ahlrot made a precise shot to the right of Melquiades Salvatore. Club Atlético Atlanta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Bonifacio Cresconio hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Melquiades Salvatore acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Karl Grep. The supporters of Ronnys Lärjungar booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Rojelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronnys Lärjungar's Tommy Beck slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Melquiades Salvatore. That made the score 6-0 after 33 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Club Atlético Atlanta defense, Claes Palmkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melquiades Salvatore. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melquiades Salvatore should have stopped the shot.

The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Ronnys Lärjungar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Beck didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Claes Palmkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 57 minutes into the match, Tommy Beck notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Melquiades Salvatore. Melquiades Salvatore was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ronnys Lärjungar's Kjell-Arne Skott was substituted for Tommy Beck. Melquiades Salvatore didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patrik Ahlrot went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Ahlrot in the 67th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Melquiades Salvatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Salvatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Skott, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Jan-Erik Säf struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Melquiades Salvatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ronnys Lärjungar. In the 82nd minute, Patrik Ahlrot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melquiades Salvatore was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. When Jan-Erik Säf fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ronnys Lärjungar's protests and gave Jan-Erik Säf a yellow card for diving instead. After 91 played minutes Ronnys Lärjungar got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Erik Säf. Kjell-Arne Skott scored 13-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Melquiades Salvatore, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Robert Viklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
