The supporters of AC LeX Luthor booed when Pinner Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugurel Gârniceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Rodion Nikitin put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jalmari Mikkonen. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Jalmari Mikkonen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermenegildo Ventura in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Savion got free with Jalmari Mikkonen in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jalmari Mikkonen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zeledon Savion in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Pinner Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Savion came free, but Jalmari Mikkonen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 30 minutes, Ali Nurettin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Nurettin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodion Nikitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jalmari Mikkonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pinner Cluj-Napoca's Jalmari Mikkonen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Pinner Cluj-Napoca from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Savion in the 43rd minute of play forced Pinner Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Jalmari Mikkonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Ali Nurettin notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague. Fulgencio Eyague was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodion Nikitin made a kick off. When the referee ended the match the AC LeX Luthor players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
